  • How does the LRE System compare to the TER?

    • Clinical studies have demonstrated that the LRE System speeds patient recovery and avoids the major (serious) complications associated with TER, yet provides the same improved range of movement and pain relief without the significant activity restrictions imposed by TER.

  • What recovery times are seen for the LRE System?

    • This begins on your first post-operative day. After removal of the patient’s bandages they can begin gentle active elbow flexion exercises under physiotherapy supervision.

      They will be able to safely discard the resting elbow splint 4-6 weeks following surgery and with a progressive physiotherapy supervised exercise programme, patients can then expect to confidently resume normal activities of daily living independently within 3 months of their procedure.
